The Innovation in Agricultural Education conference in Port-au-Prince May 3-4, 2018 brought together more than 100 professors, agricultural experts and development professionals from Haiti, the United States and other countries.
The gathering, organized by the University of Florida-managed Feed the Future Haiti AREA project, was the first-ever conference devoted exclusively to the teaching and learning of agriculture at the postsecondary level in Haiti.
Attendees shared about their research projects and exchanged ideas about how to improve teaching and create better learning experiences to aid the reform of Haiti's agricultural system.
