Hydrocooling 

On March 18-19, 2020, AREA’s postharvest technician conducted a training on hydrocooling techniques as part of AREA’s nutrition program. Hydrocooling is a low-cost technology that can improve the postharvest shelf life of vegetables by cooling them after harvest, thereby reducing postharvest losses and potentially generating more farm income.
