Ethics in Research
In March 2016, AREA held a workshop on ethics in research at three locations in Haiti: AREA’s office in Petionville (March 9) and the Bas Boën (March 10) and Montrouis (March 11) CRDDs.
The workshop was aimed at researchers and scholars interested in conducting research projects involving people and/or funded by the U.S. government or international organizations. The four-hour training satisfied the requirements of the University of Florida’s Institutional Review Board for those working on research.
